For Tomorrow’s Lecture

Well, folks. This is it. We go live with our *Online* Healing in Ethnography and Literature class tomorrow at 1:25 PM.

We have pasted the invitation to the meetings for the rest of the term below this note.

The key thing that you will want to do is set up Zoom for your computer. We will log onto the site about 1:00 PM to make sure everything is go.

When you click on that link, it will automatically open up Zoom to get you started. (If you have not installed Zoom yet you will be asked to do so. You should log in about 15 minutes before class starts just to make sure that it is working properly.) You will be able to log into the class before we are there. We will use that link to get to each class for the rest of the term.

You will see a link on the schedule to selections Daniel Defoe’s A Journal of a Plague Year as our discussion text for tomorrow. Please read it if you haven’t already. (It’s short!) We will hear a wonderful lecture from Jane on this text and we will discuss the text within the chat function of Zoom (more details on chat are here:
